Welcome to our small corner of the world!  Thank you for taking the time to visit us!

The Patagonia Volunteer Fire Department is located in the City of Hermitage approximately 70 miles North of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania.  Our community has a population of approximately 20,000 residents year round.

The Patagonia Fire department was established circa 1945 in what was then Hickory Township.  Often times the members of the department had to pay the bills out of their own pockets just to keep the electricity on.  Shortly after the department’s inception, the station was moved from the one bay garage on Marshall Street to 119 Superior Street, it’s current location.  Our department has gone through many changes in the last 60yrs with one thing remaining constant, the members constant concern for their neighbors.

I am very proud of our members and those citizens and former members who came before us and who have helped us become the organization we are today.  I hope you enjoy our site and if you ever find yourself in our area please stop by and see us!  Feel free to drop us an e/mail, (patfire@infonline.net) we would be glad to hear from you.
