7:00 am - When its time to leave the house for work, into my harness I go, leading Sandie to her car. Her husband drives, and I get to sit in the backseat, looking out the window and watching the world go by.

8:00 am - We arrive at Keystone Blind Association and I lead Sandie safely into the building. Once inside, Sandie takes me out of my harness and I'm free to roam as I like. Teddy, my favorite stuffed toy, is here waiting for me, and Sandie and I play for a little while in the hallway before she starts working.

9:00 am - While Sandie is busy at work, I roam through the different offices to visit all of my friends at the Blind Association. They always take time out of their busy days to pet me, talk to me, and play with me.

10:00 am - Time for a mid-morning nap in the Rehab. office. I like to stay around Sandie in case she should need me.

12:00 pm - LUNCHTIME! Sandie puts me into my harness. Today we're going out to a restaurant! I lead Sandie from the building to the car. When we arrive, I lead Sandie into the restaurant. By following the hostess, I am able to lead Sandie to her table. Then I get to lay down under the table (and hope Sandie accidentally drops something good to eat...)

1:00 pm - Time to head back to KBA! I lead Sandie from the restaurant back into the car, and we get back to work (or PLAY, as it were...)

2:00 pm - I usually make another jaunt around the offices after lunch to say hello to everybody, to solicit a few well-placed behind-the-ear scratches, and to see if people have dropped any food on the floor from lunchtime.

3:00 pm - I get to meet clients who come into the Blind Association. Sometimes people come in with their dog guides. Do I bark and make a fuss at them? Of course I don't! That would be uncivilized, wouldn't it?

4:30 pm - Sandie's work day comes to an end at last. I get back into my harness and lead Sandie from the building to her car, where her husband is waiting to take her home. Back into the backseat!

5:00 pm - - Today, Sandie needs to stop at a department store to pick up a few things. We get dropped off together, and I lead her into and around the store. By giving me commands like "right" and "left," I can take her exactly where she needs to go.

6:00 pm - - Home at last! Sandie takes me out of my harness, and then its time for...mmmmm....DINNER!

7:00 pm - - In the evenings, when we're at home, I'm just like a normal pet. Sandie knows the layout of her house, so she doesn't need me to get around. I'm free for the evening to do what I like...as long as I don't go getting into trouble!

9:30 pm - YAWWWWNNNNN...what a day. Sandie and I need our rest after such a busy day, so its bedtime. Sandie put a bed for me in the corner of her bedroom, but I prefer to sleep on the floor next the bed where she sleeps. Good night, Sandie.

12:00 am - ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ...
