G. Schoeppner, CFA
Mr.
Schoeppner is president of Quaker Capital
Management Corporation. Quaker Capital Partners
I, L.P., an investment partnership managed
by Quaker Capital Management, is the lead
venture capital investor in WinBeam, Inc.
Mr. Schoeppner graduated magna cum laude
with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics
from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania,
1983. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst
and a member of the Wireless Communications
Association.
Pratt
M. Harris, III
Mr. Harris has over 25 years of experience
building software solutions on a variety
of hardware platforms, with an emphasis
on database and systems design. Prior to
establishing Frontline Systems, he was development
manager and technical architect for two
Legent products: Response Manager, a network
performance monitor and Automate/XC, a PC-based
automation product. Mr. Harris has developed
software in Windows NT, Microsoft SQL Server,
and Microsoft Access, among others. He holds
a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics
from the University of Pittsburgh.
Jean-Pierre
Sakey
Jean-Pierre
Sakey brings over 20 years of diverse business
leadership with background in investment
banking, private equity transactions and
commercial industry. J.P. currently serves
as President and Chief Executive Officer
of Headway Corporate Resources. Headway
is a private company headquartered in New
York with over 3,500 employees nationally
.The company operates in two divisions;
National Human Resource Solutions &
Outsourcing and 3 Regional Staffing Services
hubs. Prior to joining Headway Mr. Sakey
was President of eResourcing Americas, a
division of TMP Worldwide, the parent company
of Monster.com. He was also heavily involved
in Monster business strategy and development.
Prior to selling his company, SPEC Group,
to TMP, Mr. Sakey Served as Chairman and
CEO of SPEC Group Holdings, a leading provider
of technology outsourcing solutions primarily
focused in the energy sector. He lead the
management buyout of SPEC in 1994 and grew
the business over 10 fold prior to the TMP
sale.
Jeffrey
A. Rex, CPA
Mr.
Rex's responsibilities at Quaker Capital
Management focus on research and analysis
of equity and fixed income securities, as
well as assisting in client investment decisions
as a portfolio manager. He graduated
with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting
from Lehigh University. From 1983
through 1991, Mr. Rex was employed by the
public accounting firm of Ernst and Young.
After four years in the audit department,
he transferred to the consulting department
where Mr. Rex primarily focused on due diligence
related engagements in the mergers and acquisitions
area. He is a Certified Public Accountant
and is a member of the American Institute
of CPA's and the Pennsylvania Institute
of CPA's. Mr. Rex joined Quaker Capital
Management in the Fall of 1991.
Joseph
J. Cunningham
Mr.
Cunningham is currently Vice President of
Wireless Acquisition LLC, a wireless equipment
manufacturer. He is responsible for sales
and market development activity of their
Conifer Wireless and EMCEE Communications
divisions. Previously, he was President
of Virginia Communications, Inc. where he
was active in all aspects of MMDS licensing,
market acquisition, operational planning
and engineering as well as launching new
markets. Joe was involved with the startup
and operational planning of CommSpeed AZ,
a subsidiary of Virginia Communications
in the Wireless Broadband Internet Access
business in Northern Arizona. Mr. Cunningham
has nearly twelve years of experience in
wireless telecommunications having managed
several operating entities from startup
through maturity. His experience includes
planning, engineering and development of
high-speed wireless broadband access operations
such as CommSpeed. Prior to this, Mr. Cunningham
has performed various duties in the positions
of President, Vice President and Director
of Virginia Communications and several subsidiaries
or related entities. Mr. Cunningham has
been recognized by the Wireless Cable Association
for leadership and contributions of time
as Chairman of the Operations Committee
and in helping other startup operators.
He remains active in the WCA. Mr. Cunningham
holds a B.S. in Engineering from Cornell
University.
John
Bunce
Mr.
Bunce has 25 years experience as CEO, president,
and general manager in a variety of technology
based businesses. From February, 2000 to
November, 2001, he was CEO of PTS Wireless
Resources, a wireless infrastructure construction
and service company focused on the California
market. From 1988 to 2000, Mr. Bunce was
president of Satec Systems of Grove City,
PA. Satec Systems sells, designs, manufactures,
and services material testing machines for
the aerospace, metals and automotive markets.
Prior to Satec, Mr. Bunce was president
of Intellitech, a startup electronics company
which developed electronic noise filters
for the hearing aid industry. Mr. Bunce
has a B.S.E.E. from MIT and an MBA from
Harvard.
Nancy
L. Johnson Special
Project Coordinator
Ms.
Johnson works with Mr. Schoeppner and Mr.
Rex at Quaker Capital Management Corp. She
handles trade operations, marketing, client
service, and web page maintenance for QCM.
Included in her responsibilities are special
projects and software applications for QCM
and WinBeam, Inc. She received an Associate
degree in Business from CCAC. Ms. Johnson’s
prior work experience includes PNC Bank.
She is a member of the Pennsylvania Association
of Notaries. Ms. Johnson joined Quaker Capital
Management in April of 1992.
